I know the article is hella old but why does this attitude seem to be prevalent among a lot of privileged white people?
There were a lot of response articles and commenters on the page that tore him a new a$$hole but his views I've noticed are very common among most middle class white people.
These same people will AVOID the hood like the plague,avoid placing their kids in urban schools, move if their neighborhood becomes "diverse" and do everything in their power to never even go to the rough side(rough means black regardless of actual crime rates to them) of town while simultaneously tell poor AA how good they have it compared to everyone else and tell them that their life is not that bad.
I was on reddit as well and there were so many self hating black people. Why do these sellout c00ns defend these viewpoints when it does absolutely NOTHING to help the black community?
