Obviously hip hop has been international and American artists have always worked with international artists, so this is a new era of that for sure, propelled by social media. However, rarely in the past would you hear a chart topping song by an American rapper and international rapper (not including reggae artists) in the U.S.
The 5th most populous country, Pakistan population is 240 million and projected to hit 263 million by 2030.
I assume Nastradamus sees the future of 10s of millions of youth that will be digitally connected, plus a portal for creativity via ever growing popularity of hip hop in an untapped market for the genre.
No doubt the success of this global hit, by Indians, "Big Dawgs" by Hanumankind ft Kalmi propelled this move, b/se it showed a unique face on hip hop that folks across the world responded incredibly positively too...even in the U.S.
