Nas rhyming "Karachi" with "Charles Barkley" over Punjabi beats incoming.

Obviously hip hop has been international and American artists have always worked with international artists, so this is a new era of that for sure, propelled by social media. However, rarely in the past would you hear a chart topping song by an American rapper and international rapper (not including reggae artists) in the U.S.

The 5th most populous country, Pakistan population is 240 million and projected to hit 263 million by 2030.

:jbhmm: I assume Nastradamus sees the future of 10s of millions of youth that will be digitally connected, plus a portal for creativity via ever growing popularity of hip hop in an untapped market for the genre.

No doubt the success of this global hit, by Indians, "Big Dawgs" by Hanumankind ft Kalmi propelled this move, b/se it showed a unique face on hip hop that folks across the world responded incredibly positively too...even in the U.S.

Then when you see what Megan the Stallion doing with the Japanese rapper Yuki Chiba on "Mamushi", it's clear American artist teams are recognizing the international power of TikTok/Instagram clips and tapping into that...

Hearing a Japanese rapper and a Black American female rapper spitting Japanese lyrics over a dope beat on urban hip hop radio stations is :wow:

AGAIN, not new....just a New Era

Can't downplay Reggaeton and the likes of Noreaga, and more recently Cardi B working with Bad Bunny and J Balvin on multilingual American chart toppers.
