Let's not act like every UK event is tainted now. Thousands of fights happened in the UK in these last few years featuring foreign fighters without any problems, one case =/= no fighter should go to the UK.
He's saying this because his own business and (boxing)political interests.
Why do they still act like Ruiz would be in any kind of control where the rematch takes place? He signed a rematch contract. He can complain as loud as he wants he'll still have to go wherever they tell him to go or they can sue the shyt out of him. Situation is that simple, idk why they trying to make fans believe it's not.
Dillian Whyte ha apparently passed his post fight VADA test too, they may use this as evidence in the UKAD test.
It's not going to help him. VADA only tested Whyte and Rivas twice as part of the WBC's CBP. The testing dates for VADA were on the 17th (the Wednesday before the fight) & the 21st (immediately the day after the fight) of July. UKAD was the tester of record for Whyte & Rivas for their entire training camps. The test that Whyte failed is from a sample taken on the 17th of June. UKAD notified Team Whyte of the adverse sample, a month later, on the 17th of July, which was the first time either of them were tested by VADA.
The B sample from UKAD is what will exonerate him, not anything from VADA.
Depends when the UKAD and VADA tests were taken and the time apart. I heard he got tested by VADA a lot more than 2 times. I think there's a lot more to come out about this when more information is presented, an adverse sample which he then explained and was cleared to fight, therefore that would indicate he hasn't actually failed any test. UKAD could have banned him and have the power to but didn't, so the question is why they cleared him and what evidence was presented that made them clear him. I'm not sure if that's even allowed to come out cause UKAD are supposed to be confidential but they could make a statement if they wanted clearing him. If UKAD come out and say he was rightfully cleared too then both organisations would have and he should be free to do whatever. Hopefully this is resolved soon for clarity.
Just to add on Whyte and Rivas were tested 12 or more times.
It's in my post. The adverse sample from UKAD was taken on the 17th of June. The VADA tests were taken on 17th and 21st of July for the WBC's Clean Boxing Program. They're a month apart. Those were the only tests from VADA.
That's not how drug tests work. He could have a million tests from VADA. It's all about his B sample from UKAD. The UKAD sample means he got caught between tests. The window for catching D-Bol is 72 hours after ingestion. Where are you getting this tested 12 more times from? Source?
He was tested 12 or more times.
