rewatching the series and just finished season 4. would have been such a perfect circle to end it on. instead we got 4 more seasons of complete trash. Christ what could have been brehs
cant agree with you there homey, season 2 was too boring and five was too outlandish and very unrealisticFor me nah, that's the wire.
But it would easily be top 10 and I'd have no problem with it being in the discussion.
Easily would have, yeahrewatching the series and just finished season 4. would have been such a perfect circle to end it on. instead we got 4 more seasons of complete trash. Christ what could have been brehs
nah, everything after 4 is god-awfulNot really. People really forget how bad Season 3 was with the whole Miguel Prado arc and the HORRIBLE Skinner arc.
I'll even go as far and say Season 7 was better then Season 3.
Season 3 is a bad season in between the best seasons of the show (Season 2 and 4) So people just go with it and say the first 4 is goat
Season 7 is a good season in between the 2 worst seasons of the show(Season 6 and 8) So people just go with it and say the last 4 seasons are horrible which isn't the case. Season 7 was a damn good season and Season 5 has maybe the best season premiere and a top 10 episode of the entire series(Take It)
But yea i always said people don't really give dexter it's props when comparing it to the goats. I firmly believe the first 2 seasons of the dexter>The first 2 seasons of breaking bad.

the wire is still widely considered goat or top 3 with 2 very bad seasonsNo
Season 3 would have always kept it from reaching that level.
I actually like season 3. The season finale was very bad. So bad that the consensus is the entire season is bad, which I don't think is true.
If they would have handled the finale differently, I think the entire perspective on that season would be different.
Season 1,2, & 4 are top notch though.

nah, Dexter had every reason to NOT kill the trinity killer, he was trying to learn how to be a family man and carry his dark passenger... He thout TK had it all figured out, didn't realize how broken TKs family was until the latter part of the season3 was the best season after 1.
4 would have been trashed if not for Ligthow playing against type and the contrived shock ending. Skinner arc was terrible but Trinity's secret killer daughter wasn't? or the random La Guerta and Batista romance?. Dexter not killing Trinity who he knew was a serial killer made zero sense. Season was saved by the last three episodes.
nah, season 2 and 5 are almost unwatchableThe Wire's worst season is better than Dexter's best. Not even debatable.
