Normalization and extremism. I have no issue with twerking, stripping, whatever. You’re an adult you can do as you please…and I enjoy that shyt frankly. But there’s a time and a place for everything. I like to drink bourbon, but I wouldn’t drink it in church. I like to listen to rap music, but I wouldn’t play it during a funeral. I like watching movies, but I wouldn’t watch one while at work.

Yet a segment of society has decided that since stripping/twerking is fine, it’s fine in any context anywhere. Including with children, like in the video. Including at restaurants. Including at church. This behavior is idiotic and disturbing for the simple reason that it points to a general stupidity and lack of understanding the concept of CONTEXT. This is not about empowerment or fighting the patriarchy, not really. It’s about ignorance.
