I remember this was supposed to happen. Back then around 92, I read in the tv guide that BET had a show coming on that discussed New Jack City 2 which was in the works. I never saw the show though. Does anyone remember the BET special about New Jack City when it was going to be released. I had it on vhs tape but I accidentally recorded over it a year later in 92 and I never seen it on youtube. In the program, Sherry Carter(I'm sure it was her) walked thru NY with Wesley Snipes and they interview multiple cast members of the movie, artists from the soundtrack and show multiple highlights of the movie. This was before it dropped. I have not been able to locate that anywhere. I had no many tapes recorded over by leaving it in my aunt or mom's vcr overnight and they would have a timer set to record soap operas the next day. fukking bullshyt.

47. I've told this before. I was 13 going on 14 when I saw NJC at the theater. I had the Rap Masters Magazine with Ice T on the cover in the white tux. Ernie Paniccioli just told me he took those pics and I should have known.

You put me on a scavenger hunt for two vids with your posts. This NJC special and the Malcolm X tv special you mentioned in another thread. Everything eventually makes it to youtube, and usually on the Reel Black youtube channel.
I used to record stuff on VHS, too and a good 75% of stuff that I swore to be the only one who recorded, has turned up.

the Malcolm X cbs special is on youtube . I eventually ordered that one through the mail years prior to youtube, but someone uploaded it. That NJC special, I don't think I'll ever see that again.
