She also had the "you think you the shyt you not even the fart" song a few months ago. Seems like all of these women rappers are going through the same phase of audience fatigue. How many super bright, highly over stimulating videos can you release with songs that all sound the same before people tire of it. Unless it's just an undeniable hit, most of these songs disappear from consciousness after a couple weeks. And since most of them aren't touring it's hard to develop a fanbase.

Outside of Meg and Doja I'm not sure any of these new-ish chicks are gonna make it. They'll all have a video/song a year that garners attention but that's about it.

I've never seen an "artist" rise so inorganically quick in pop culture while not having an undeniable hit record and an overall dog shyt catalog. Gucci had the whole south on fire listening to dozens of his mixtape material he spent years on, yet at the peak of his buzz he was a C-list celeb at best. Shawty's team and the Twitter bot farms that worked diligently on making her a meme deserve an award or something, she's surpassed Chance The Rapper and A$AP Rocky in the industry plant HOF.

Definitely. And as much as the new online narrative tries to tell us that she matters, she really doesn't. The music is completely vapid and has no staying power.

People like her look, and they like the IDEA of her being successful, but I don't think she has an actual fanbase like a SZA, Doja or Meg to carry her forward. I would say Coi Leray is even in a better position for longer term success than Ice
