Yes. Once it blew up songwriting credits and royalties was settled.
But to be fair to Ice. That shyt was pretty common in the 80's and early 90's. Alot of classic rap albums from the 80's early 90's would have cost a fortune in this day and age. But no one gave a fukk about sample clearance in tho's day's...

That shyt sampled the Beatles(EMI does not fukk around when it comes to the Beatles)..
That is why you hear primo talking about snitches at the end of the Royalty record. B/c at the time there was no internet. But dudes where putting out 12in wax of sample songs..
