I think the Hollywood executives went on a campaign to make sure, anyone with so-called "Anti-Semitic" opinions were shut up and quiet from making further stances, so the scandal didn't blow up into something serious (like OWS and Watergate) and people actually demanding accountability and justice. It was pretty much swept under the rug. And I think shutting up guys like Cube and Professor Griff was part of that.
