Batman is too valuable as a Movie franchise to Warner Brothers. That's why Batman/Bruce Wayne never guest starred on Smallville.

too dark and moody, production costs, etc. not sure a live action tv show about bruce wayne and him being the batman would hold over long on network tv.

Done correctly, it would be the most magnificent television show in the past 30-40 years...for about 3-4 seasons.
It would cost like a million an episode, they'd have to use unknowns, and it would end TERRIBLY.

as long as the series doesn't end with batman and some atomic bomb being put in the storyline, i'm cool. batman and atomic bombs don't mix...
The closest thing we got to a WB Batman series was that old Birds of Prey series starring Huntress and Oracle.

On HBO with a budget like Game of Thrones, it could be a masterpiece. His detective work would be much better suited for the small screen. They totally remove that part of his character from the movies besides Batman Begins for the most part. nikka is borderline clueless about shyt in TDKR
Might end up being a wack ass show like Nightman.
Speaking of HBO budgets, I've been wondering. Are the budgets of a big budget HBO show like Game of Thrones comparable to a big budget genre network drama like Lost, 24, or Fringe?

they could definitely make it work if they did it right, but like someone said it would cost a shytload of money per episode. would take alot of work, but would be epic if they pulled it off.
