I would like to see a wrestler who has no finisher.

Hear me out on this.
He wouldnt have one or two finishers like most cats but a dozen of big moves that he could win matches with.

Lets say for example he would have one or two submissions holds, a high flying move, a sort of DDT, a sort of powerbomb, one or two variations of suplexes, a devastating kick, a sort of backbreaker, a sort of neckbreaker, a stiff clothesline/lariat...

Now he would hit these big moves in no particular order in his matches and be able to pull up the win with any of them.

That would add suspense to his bouts cause you never know when they would end. And no need to "protect" his finisher because he doesnt have one so it doesnt matter at all when someone kick out of one of these moves.

All in all he would just be hurting his opponents progressively in the match with his moves instead of the basic formula of the finisher being the most devastating one and usually ending the fight.
It makes sense from a storytelling point and i think i'm not the only one who sometimes think a regular move from a wrestler's arsenal looks likes it would hurt more than his actual finisher.

What do you think ?

I used to think Psychosis's finisher was the rollup because that's the only way he could win. Same with La Parka.

Lashley don’t got a finisher. He either gets DQ’d, or his opponent get DQ’d

Dean Malenko.

His "best hold" was the Texas Cloverleaf, but a hallmark of his run in WCW was the ability to win a match with ANYTHING.

Sooooh Dean Malenko or AJ Styles (his “best” move is the Styles Clash, but he could win with The Phenomenal Forearm, The Calf Killer, The Superman Splash, The Spiral/Spinal Tap, The Frog Splash...)

Daisuke Sekimoto wins matches with a German Suplex, a deadlift German Suplex, a Lariat, a Boston Crab, an STF, Sharpshooter and a Frog Splash.

Yuji Okabayashi wins matches with a Top rope splash, a deadlift German Suplex, a Lariat, a Camel Clutch and an Argentine Backbreaker.

It depends on opponent, match and importance of the match which move they use to finish the match off :manny:

Wrestlers should win with other big moves that the crowd would accept as finishers, like a superplex or top rope powerbomb or something. SOmetimes the crowd will react more to those and the impact than a finisher itself.
