Can’t believe I actually used to game on this tiny ass screen

I compared it to my Switch and IPhone 12 Pro max and the difference was insane.

Even my 2004 PSP had a bigger screen than this. Crazy how this shyt was accepted back in the day

I feel like the issue was the device was too big for the screen to be so small. If they changed the form factor and made the screen 3.5 inches it would’ve been perfect.

Not really, the first iPhone dropped a whole year later with a 3.5" screen (DSLite screen was 3.12")

Other devices didn't cost as much as the DSLite, nor were they as "light"

The PSP was the only thing that came close value wise

I’ve got my original PSP which came out at the same time as the DS and the screen is much bigger and brighter than the DS

I think the DSLite screens got a little brighter than the OG PSP screens, and had better battery life

The PSP screens had better a resolution, but they ghosted like shyt and the battery was terrible

And the battery was much worse than the DS. So there was a tradeoff for said larger screen with higher resolution. Dexter
