I would be a poet converting into a rapper. Writing is absolutely no problem,but not too sure on how to get this off the ground.

It's not that hard. Save your first beats so you can laugh at yourself later. But if you're like me you will hear shyt in your head and not be able to execute it at first but eventually grasp it. Remaking beats you like is a good way to learn what people do.
