For example, bench press 1.5X body weight, run 5 miles in 40 minutes etc

I did a meetup the other day with this ex collegiate athlete and we did a couple 400 meter runs and the fastest we did was sub 1:30. He did 1:21 and I did 1:28. He was pretty happy with results considering it was his first day back training for speed. He had considerably more gas in the tank while I ran out at 300 meters.

I went online later looking up "how fast can your average American run 400m" some cats were saying men ages 20 to 30 should be able to run it in 60 seconds. I'm like get the fukk out of here.

I did another meet up for fuctional fitness 30 minutes later. God, when you look at some of these people, you be cocky as fukk like I'm about to beast on these lil dweebs because you lift heavy weights and they look skinny and frail.

Motherfukkers blew me out of the water when it came to competition. For example, we did 10 burpees, followed by a 460 m run around the track, followed by 100 jump ropes followed by 10 Burpees.

The fastest finished in 3:16 seconds, I finished in last place at 4:47 seconds. My endurance is terrible when it comes to leg work.

I left feeling like vegeta.

My personal standards,

Bench press: 1.5x BW
Box Squat: 2x BW
Trap Bar DL(I don't really do straight bar anymore): 2.5x BW
Military Press: 1xBW
Chin ups: 1.5x BW
Power Clean: 1.25-1.5X BW
Snatch: 1x BW
Push Press: 1.25x BW
Incline Bench: 1.25 x BW
BW Chins - 25 reps
RDL: 1.5x BW

2.4km/1.5mile run = under 9.5mins.

I've hit some, very far off others, but it's a starting point and that's what matters. I'll re-evaluate. If I hit, say, 2.3xBW on the trap bar DL and I feel pushing for the extra isn't worth it, I won't.
