I wanna see a rapper make a concept album like R. Kelly just did with "Write me back"

R. Kelly has a bunch of songs where he uses older legends style (Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, Barry White)

it'd be nice to see a rapper emulate a different rapper on each song

I don't think a rapper could emulate rappers like that.
I wouldn't wanna hear Nas tryna rap like Eminem or Twista .

Singers style excluding the notes is not as hard to emulate as with rappers.
It's like 15 different factors in rap that has to stick for it to sound the same from flow, delivery, wordplay, wittiness, lyrical content and on and I don't think anyone is able to do that without it being a joke like Aaron Spears or whatever his name is.

But like Kells did
I think maybe Nas, 3Stacks & Jay probably are the only dudes out that have any type of fame that could drop 10 songs that takes a lot of the essence from different eras and artists. But they are probably too "cool" to ever try it.

Based on their knowledge of the game and willingness to work with newer artists, skills, staying consistent with the hiphop timeline since the early 90s, versatility I'd guess Nas, 3 Stacks, Jay in that order. You could probably throw together a 10 song Nas album almost sounding like that by picking 10 songs from his discography. And based of certain songs on LIG, he showed that he could easily pull of something that sounds like it came out in the early 90s.

Who you got? And also the interesting part would be who would produce it?

All three have at one time or another kind of done it on a few songs but your right, I couldn't see them doing it for an ENTIRE album though itd be an interesting experiment. Nas probably the only one who might even have an inkling to try but it's highly doubtful
