I just called a Hotel service hotline, and after the call the agent told me "Stay on the line we will transfer you to another hotel customer service agent with a chance to win rewards points"
I was like
She seemed so perky and nice on the phone, and I know she meant well. But damn she's so persistent. Asking me questions like "Of the 7 cities I just named, which city would you love to stay in??!"... Gave her a respectable answer and the questions still wouldn't stop
Gave me a "deal" on a resort stay for $399. I told her nah I work at Burger King I don't have that kind of money. She's like "Oh no problem, actually we have a deal for $299 instead on top of a $100 gift card when you arrive"
I couldn't take it anymore and hung up. Sorry lady
