I been having no issues..been playing last of us 2 and that looks amazing..wifey been playing Spider-Man with no issue..and I usually put my ps5 In rest mode instead of turning it off and no issues there either..everything been smooth sailing

I havent powered off my ps5 since I first turned it on.

I had it crash once playing MK 11 like two weeks ago but thats it. System rebooted/rebuilt itself and havent had issues since.

Even running thru Miles Morales, I didn't have any crashes others were talking about. Although I've always made it a habit to fully power down my consoles instead of putting it in rest mode...

There were very few bricks due to the SSD being damaged during the rebuilding process after the system crashed.

The crashing itself seems to have been a real problem that was fixed with an update and the possibility of your system being permanently damaged from a crash was probably small.
