He won't be holding the rock all game and being forced to dictate the offense. He'll be able to play off the ball, come off screens, have multiple iso's a game, and this is with Deron running the offense. If the Nets do manage to get Dwight, it will open the floor even more for Johnson and I wouldn't be surprised if he averaged 25+ next season. Joe Johnson is one of the most frustrating players in the NBA to watch IMO but I think it's mainly due to him being forced to be a #1 option which he's not. He's going to thrive in Brooklyn with Deron as a number #2 (possible #3 option)

I could see Joe putting up 24, 5 and 5 on 46% shooting very easily next season. One of the smoothest offensive players in the league :ahh:

Who made Joe Johnson? Steve Nash... Dude has a pg that can distribute & for the sake of argument, can handle the game winner w/o problem. This is probably the most stress free Joe has been since his first year in ATL. I think he'll have a hell of a season.

Idk about 25ppg, but 20+ppg is def within reach. I mean :youngsabo: averaged 25ppg last season so JJ can def do it if it's only him and Deron.

Regardless, I agree with you that JJ will definitely have a good, possibly even great, stat line and impact for next year's regular season

He will have issues with others because he'll want to hog it up in the 4th like he did in ATL.

The media will get on him, too. Let's see how he deals with that.

He could average 25 a game if he wanted. But i just don't think its in Joe's mentality to take over when needed. But he'll definitely get 20-21 a game a be their leading scorer.

Deron will lead that team in scoring. Joe J is a good player but I don't see him putting up over 20 ppg because the offense is not going to go through him. I can see him being more efficient though since he should get better shots up.
