Firstly, my knee It's like...sore whenever I extend it. I've been doing knee extensions and have been really trying to beef up the quads and I may have overdone it.

And next, the very end of my right pinky has gone numb. This one has me kinda worried. I've again, been really going hard on the weights in the last couple of weeks, really trying to push the limit with new weights.

Should I be really worried for either or wait it out?

And if I wait it out, how long can I stay out of the gym without muscle deterioration? :sadbron:

do u recall what happened to it?

I like struggle a lot, where my body is shaking to get that last rep. That may have something to do with it. But it hasn't been numb before I started going hard in the gym. And yeah it's still numb.

Knee extension is not necessary to go super heavy with. Second of all, you don't want to beef up your quads and not beef up your hamstrings. In order to grow them equally, just do squats, leg presses, and deadlifts.

Numb pinky? Have a doctor check it out.

as someone with knee problems...if an excercise is making your knee itself hurt stay away from it..

leg extensions are the worst because if you have bad knees they just cause more shearing of the i
tissue around it and they don;t really strengthen it...stay away from leg presses as well


start out doing high reps of bodyweight squats along with calf raises....then when your knee gets better add in some lunges.


your knee is not something to play with just to get an "aesthetic" look when theres alerady a better way to achieve that look without destroying your knee

but before all that go get your shyt checked out earlyyyyyy...i cant stress the importance for saving your knees..

no pain no gain doesn't apply to your knees
