Great show, season 1 is kind of monster of the week stuff but once you get to season 2 your head will explode

The best season is Season 3. It's an emmy-worthy season. The show fell off in season 4 (last season). The only reason I still watch is because it's the last season & it's only 13 episodes.

I saw first five episodes and that shyt was the same every week. Some monster/alien shyt shows up, lets go see the doctor/professor, he thinks he's seen it before, the end.

That broad couldn't act for shyt and didn't look good, so I gave up.

The second half is when they get into the mythology and those first half episodes get tied in, the pieces fit.

And without giving anything away, there's a reason the chick is cold, dry, kinda disconnected, always wears dark colors. She can act.

It's ok. If you want to check out a show like this you should just watch "X-Files" honestly.

I really enjoyed this series

but I thought the first season was kind of boring and I actually bailed on it before the season was over


then a friend told me that it was getting really good near the end of season two...so I went back and caught up and was hooked

so...just don't expect it to come out of the gates swinging...it needed a little time to find its stride
