maybe because it started on a Wed? maybe it got overshadowed by the DNC, maybe cuz these two teams are exactly like they were last year and are real boring?

In all honesty, all of those opening Thursday games are lame. Football should open on Sunday plain and simple. The only people that care are fans of the respective teams. I never watch those games. Obviously I watched this one because my team was in it.
