I swear to God I don't recall Benoit ever having a singles match with Taker

I remember him kind of owning Taker in that Fatal fourway and some tag shyt but that was it. In 2000 and 2001, Benoit never lost that much except to Rock, Austin, Cripple H, and Angle. He had Kane tapping...his presentation is how Lashley was supposed to look from day one.

After humiliating DDP, I don’t think taker had a serious program with any WCW alumni outside Ric Flair(who kinda doesn’t count because he was in wwf around the time taker was getting over so he had no issues working with him). Never had a serious program with Booker, Benoit, Jericho, or Eddie. I think he had one match against Rey during one of his last title runs and straight squashed him. Of course we know he buried RVD and especially the Dudleys in that shytty handicap match from one of those summer 04 PPVs. For all the talk of HHH reign of terror on Raw, taker did the same on SD on a more low key scale

I thought he did but I don't remember it str8 up. He wrestled Albert and Test more than the Radicals. Benoit was kicking everybody's ass. Had him whooping up on Stephanie before the Cripple H match and everything but he never beat down Taker. Until WM 17, they kept Taker and Cripple H apart too..it was easy to notice that. They had one match on Smackdown in 2000 when he was feuding with Austin at Survivor Series and Angle interfered in that.
