I struggle with films that are not comedies these days...

Anything with substance can't touch tv shows.
Really Boardwalk Empire better than any gangster film in the past 3 years by far.
Game of thrones is better than any fantasy or sci fi perhaps ever
Breaking Bad is more gripping than any thriller or action film at least on the last 3-5 years also

Be interesting if you can prove me wrong....

Sometime I can watch a film that I need to pay a lot of attention to and other times I just put on a numb mindless comedy. Sometimes I watch amateur porn where the girls legs are like bambi and her eyes like Sebastian the crab (or was he a lobster) and sometimes I watch a girl get gang banged, hard, until she's part of the dust on the sloped wooden floor. I guess my point is you have to be in the mood for something. And certain moods come round more often than others. You can't watch that hard-core lezdom whipping sh1t while eating your cereals that often.
