Damn shyt looks like a fukking headache. He plays out his drums in cool edit also? I use to chop my samples in adobe audition and that was a fukking headache .smh

Drum loop or drum hits?
hits Open like 5 cool edits with each sound i wanted and a master for the song i was making. Copy and paste the hits into place matching up the wavs perfectly. When they sounded off i edited the sample until it fit on time. Just tapped my finger on the desk to get the timing of the beat accurate. This was 1998 though.
I'm going to try this. AB said he uses the same software since 96
Its time consuming and im happy i stopped doing it. Very primitive technique.

it looks like he really laid everything down on something else and then dumped the horns loop on one track the drum loop on next track and synced/placed in the sample where he wanted on separate tracks which is not hard to do in cool edit if you have a beat already.......but still impressive
