The Sword of Jesus of Nazareth
Ever since I was 11/12 I had a rage build up inside of me that I could never contain and I would fly off the handle at every little thing. Thankfully my parents intervene early and put me in martial arts but if anything that exacerbated my problems. I had the means to cause harm and damage to people if warranted and I did. I would antagonize people. Knock out car windows. Start shyt with a dude in front of his girl and then call the bytch ugly. When I was sixteen I punched a kid so hard that I broke his orbital bone and I was expelled. Cause of my mother and fathers connection to the military I was put in military like school and fast tracked into the army. Again. Youd think this would fix my issues but it didn’t it only made me much more methodical in rationalizing my anger. Yeah I could shoot guns. But nobody is shooting back. Yeah I could box it out with DI’s and grunts but sometimes they’d whoop my ass, and would I would win I still was never satisfied.
Fast track. I’ll be 37 in April, my son is due in March. We live and I plan to keep my son within the community and to a predominately black school. I want him to not have to have it cross his mind to think its ok to harm another person over some bullshyt thats really miniscule in the grand scheme. Its one of the first true gifts I can give him that I never could have: a peace of mind. I won’t raise him to be a door mat like some people in our family. I will raise him to be better than I was. That’s what I hope to achieve theu anger management
Proverbs 23:24
The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice,
And he who sires a wise son will be glad in him.
