I apply aloe vera gel after. Really helps with any burning and greatly curbs all irritation.

I have wild facial hair so I cannot shave in between. Either every day I shave or at a week's time.

safety razor shaving is the shyt. It reduces burns, is cheaper than cartridges, and doesn't irritate your face. It also is old school as fukk and makes you feel like don draper. There's a little technique involved, but watch them videos by this guy and your shave will even be better with shytty cartridge razors.
