that applies to any show. whenever a show drops i'd wait till first season hits and renewal for the 2nd to start watching.

how to make it in america was one of those casualties

You know, that logic is the very reason shows get cancelled.

Don't get me wrong, I do it too, but it's not doing anything but causing a vicious cycle. Look at the comic book industry.

most people don't even have time to watch shyt live no more. with pvr's and shyt streaming online, people catch up during the summer or something.

every show should get a pass for its first season and let buzz go around.

They take DVR ratings into account and I believe they do the same for stuff like Hulu.

Not watching a show in the hope that it gets good ratings to get renewed makes no sense.

Hell no. Some shows really do need to be cancelled after 1-2 episodes because they suck.

It's 2012, how is a show getting cancelled surprising you still?

There is all kinds of stats and info at your disposal from the first ep that airs.

I watch every new show cause I know one of them would survive. I mean look at revenge, I would have never guess that show would get the hype it does

As soon as my girlfriend saw the first promo, she was in. She still watches every episode live, and she rarely watched television if I'm not watching.

Revenge (and Nashville) are the kinda shows that survive on network TV. Campy dramas that are focused on female viewers.
