i have friends of all races. why should i support a business just because the owner shares my skin color?

think about it. we didn't decide to be minorities. we didn't earn this. it's like our height or our dikk size: not something that we chose.

therefore, we shouldn't identify with it. yeah, i am a minority but it is not my identity.

i'm a vegan. i'm a socialist. i'm a writer, a gamer, a pot smoker and an athlete. i chose to be these things. this is my identity.

neither of us did anything to earn this skin color. it was randomly bestowed upon us.

tying your identity to your race is flat out wrong.

you might as well tie your identity to your hair color, dikk size, tone of voice and shoulder broadness while you are at it.

you are what you earn, what you live, what you choose, what you believe. this is your real identity.

I will support a white one before I will check the next nikkas store. Heck there is probably a loud mouth black chick in there who will give me an attitude just for showing up.

Can't have that

It's not your whole identity but in America, it is always part of your identity.

If you don't want to support minority-owned businesses, then don't. I don't know why you would intentionally go out of your way to avoid them, though.

only if u support one black business that is essential in your area is a great start.

U don't have to support all black businesses, but do support the brothers and sistas and businesses that are at least or even better than white ones..

OP I'm not judging you but I just wanna know how come you don't identify with black ppl? Don't you see the current situation of black folks in America and don't you have the desire to help it get better?

To me it's about helping your people as a whole climb up the ladder but if you don't identify with black people like that no one can force you :yeshrug:

Again I don't judge you. Prepared to be called a c00n repeatedly tho :pachaha:
