i have friends of all races. why should i support a business just because the owner shares my skin color?
think about it. we didn't decide to be minorities. we didn't earn this. it's like our height or our dikk size: not something that we chose.
therefore, we shouldn't identify with it. yeah, i am a minority but it is not my identity.
i'm a vegan. i'm a socialist. i'm a writer, a gamer, a pot smoker and an athlete. i chose to be these things. this is my identity.
neither of us did anything to earn this skin color. it was randomly bestowed upon us.
tying your identity to your race is flat out wrong.
you might as well tie your identity to your hair color, dikk size, tone of voice and shoulder broadness while you are at it.
you are what you earn, what you live, what you choose, what you believe. this is your real identity.
