I really hope Marvel just does an Infinity Gauntlet movie

fukk a Avengers; this story needs to have it's own movie. Avengers 2 should just have Thanos go after the cube so casual fans can be introduced to him. In that movie drop subtle hints about the gems, wait a year or 2 and have the movie come out. It gives time for Marvel to get back the movie rights for Fantastic 4 and Spidey so they can be thrown in the mix.

Yea that's kind of the problem with the Avengers sequel. In order for IG to really be what it needs to be, the 2nd Avengers movie has to be mostly filler.

Casual fans now know who Thanos is because it was a point of conversation directly after the movie came out. "The Avengers" is a pop culture phenomenon, one of the highest grossing movies in history....people went home and looked that shyt up directly after the movie was over.

You gotta understand, this movie is a hit with every demographic. Young, old, ,middle aged, soccer moms, whatever. If they sat in a theater for 140 minutes watching a comic book movie they most likely Googled "who was that at the end of the movie?" when they went home. I've talked to a few people that knew who he was, I'm talking 50 year old men, all the way down to 20 year old cheer leader types. shyt is honestly.

I'm telling you they don't need to check wiki. I don't think you understand how many sites had info about Thanos after the movie. CNN had an article with links explaining who he is....CNN....that's how mainstream that scene is now.

Like I said, the movie is a pop culture phenomenon. Loki wasn't well known either when they introduced him yet here we are with him as the main villain in a movie that grossed $1 billion so far.

What will most likely happen, Thanos will pop up in the sequels leading up to "Avengers 2". Possibly as part of the main story, but I doubt as the main villain. He'll most likely either be seeking the Gems, or the Gauntlet itself since it seems to already have the Gems in it. Which ever sequel comes last, I think it's "Captain America 2", he'll most likely have them all, which will lead into "Avengers 2".

it would have to be broken up as a 2 parter.
then do crossovers with the Infinity Gauntlet as a side story in other Marvel movies, that way more of the story is told...same as in actual comics.


it could be done, but like others have said Marvel NEEDS to get the rights back for all of their characters.

seeing the Avengers, Spiderman, Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer all in one movie...i would bust a nut.

if done correctly, it could be very entertaining and a cash cow for Marvel for years. i support this my idea 100%.
