I mean he's had a good career and all, but then I see a dude like MEEK MILL who SWAGGER JACKED THE F**K out of Bleek, ran with his style and has a huge buzz now... if you really think about it, Mill has that delivery that Bleek originated with "the screaming flow", it's like no matter what, Bleek had to live with being in the shadow of Jay or for that purpose, i've been listening to the new bleek tape "The movement" and he has more of those "southern sounding beats" and they really do fit him like someone had said earlier... im mad for Bleek! lol :to:

Funny thing about Bleek is everybody actually likes him, like there are literally no reasons to even dislike the dude. He's a good emcee, rhymes over good beats.

i just think being in Jay-Z's shadow was a gift and a curse because it was hard for people not to see him as Jay's little homie.

He did the best he could though.

He's an average MC at best. He's the perfect definition of being at the right place at the right time. LOL @ being one hit away for 15 years. At least as long as Jay is alive he's a millionaire :manny:

He'll always be known as the nikka who was in Jay's shadow, the nikka who got sonned by Nas and indirectly led to Nas sonning his boss Jay, the nikka who proudly proclaimed "I GOT NEXT " on Fade To Black:what: and the nikka who Jay said "could be one hit away his whole career, as long as I'm Alive he's a millionaire" which basically undermines his ENTIRE solo
career....

Is it fair? Nope.but it's the truth...

To me he had a good career, a couple of his albums went gold I believe, I'm a fan of Bleek but I don't think anyone was expecting him to have a Jay-Z like career

Yeah, but you don't dislike him.

Like Drake got skills but it's easy to just dislike that nikka. Bleek? Dude is cool with most folks.

I say this all the time, Bleek has always been dope, I've been listening to dude since his verse on 'Hard Knock Life Vol. 2', 'Coming Of Age', man as 14 year old, that was the best album to me, just raw, thugged out shyt, all his albums are solid/dope as fukk, 'M.A.DE' defined a good part of my senior year in HS, '534; is a grear summer album, Bleek is straight, good production, makes good music. 10x better then Meek Millz, in my opinion.
