I need some camcorder help brehs

Looking to buy a new one for myself. I understand the Canon - VIXIA HF M50 8GB is supposed to be good. Can anyone confirm or suggest something better?

For a camcorder

I would look at either Canon or Sony
Canon has better/faster autofocus and low light shooting
Sony on the other hand has better color and brighter picture overall
