I need a movie ID (I have little facts but let's see)

Ok I remember this movie coming out maybe 5-6 years ago. It was suppose to be directed by the same person who did J. Lo's movie "The Cell." I just know the movie is articially on the level of "The Cell." Basically the only facts I know about the movie are

1. The Director wanted the viewer to look through the eyes of a person who is/was on LSD and/or other hallucinogens.
2. The Director used 3-D animations to simulate the first point. When you watch the movie you see the LCD effects.
3. Movie probably was in WIP maybe 2-4 years after The Cell. My dates might be WAY off.

Saw it when it came out, couldn't fukk with the whole slave thing so I never finished it. Movie was visually piff, though.
