The Mayan calendar is the same as the Ethiopian calendar which means its April, 2005.

The Gregorian calendar wasn't introduced until the early 1560's.

The gregorian calendar is 7 years ahead of the Mayan calander which means the end of the world wouldn't be until 2020.

Or what if this is another marketing scheme by the GOVERMENT to keep people in a state of fear?
