So if you got the X1 cable box from comcast, you will know that the FF is disabled on most on demand shows.
However, the page up button will go foward 10 minutes at a time.
But what I learned is you can easily reprogram that button so where the page up and page down button will either rewind or FF 30 seconds at a time, and u can use that button for commercials.
all u gotta do is hit the "exit" button 3 times, then type in 0030 (for 30 seconds) and it will work. I have two of these boxes and both took the hack.
and you cannot use other numbers for the hack. it only works with the 30 seconds interval only apparently. still beats having to watch those on demand commercials.
and now it's like I have HULU, cuz I can FF all my on demand programming again with ease.
