I know this much is true that the Colts signed an old washed up rivers and aint doing shyt this year
I loved the directors movies, but the concept of this, from a brief summary didn't catch me.

yeah, I doubt I will watch this, besides the aesthetic, which Cianfrance has always excelled in, this looks awful.

Whoops, my bad. Yeah I was all over the place today
Pretty solid premiere. Tone wise it's heavy right off the bat, and even the color palette makes you feel grimy. I really like Ruffalo as an actor though and I'm sure he'll kill it here. No matter how depressing this may get, I'm still a sucker for dramas so I'm in for the ride.

whole episode was good. the intro had me a mix of

all a young bruh wanted to do was drop a deuce on the bus in peace and the other wanted to see the statue of liberty. neither accomplished either that day
that scene with him and the social worker had me pissed off.
why they had to throw that baby scene in the story
that therapy session
tht drunk ass lady on the porch
I really liked this episode. They don't waste scenes, everyone has a purpose to moving the story along and you can get some type of emotion out of every one

Yeah, this episode turned dark super quick. 
I found this episode to be structured much better than the pilot and as far as the portrayals go, it seems like everything is falling right into place. Normally, I can't stand when shows add in that dark, grainy filter but it compliments the whole show's emotions hand in hand. It really does feel like a movie.
The opening credits in particular stuck out to me big time.....they're killing it with the melancholic soundtrack so far. I can't help but feel drained when watching this....luckily Insecure comes on directly afterwards.

This show dropped during a rough time and given the tone of it all, I'm not shocked to not see a bunch of folks in the thread. It's grabbing me though.
I'm gonna run the third episode back, but there's a scene in it that made me want to take a shower afterwards.
