lol i remember vaguely the end (or beginning?) being a death in a garbage truck, it was a good episode...Ludacris one too. Martin Short had a creepy episode as well. I never watch SVU anymore, even in a hotel or something when there is nothing else...it seems so hacky and overblown now. I think the first 4 seasons or so were solid to great writing/acting/direction (for a cop procedural) and like most shows they just kept rolling for the money, and occasionally turned out a great-good episode or three a season...I remember in 2009 watching one of those Tuesday marathons on USA, maybe like 7-10 episodes one day, and by the end, I was so emotionally wrung out, and felt so unclean...I may have stopped watching regularly after that.

How many people have killed themselves RIGHT IN FRONT OF Staebler and Benson :damn: I can think of three gun suicides and a jumping off a building right now :whoo:

On top of that, the number of shootouts and bombs going off in that precinct. How are Benson/Finn/Munch/Cragen not on the edge of insanity at this point?

its insane...the precinct has had more shootouts than a gunrange and NOBODY addresses it. They just buy more giant 2019 model computers and toss em in the middle of the floor like they don't care at all...manhattan SVU is shockingly irresponsible :heh:
