I just want to play some damn games and sometimes doing that on PC is just annoying

I like gaming on PC and all but damn sometimes it's just little shyt that makes you realize why some folks ain't gonna just "get it on PC".

I update COD, hop on and now my campaign progress is lost, and now the game wants to crash every couple of minutes.

mods, framerates and shyt is cool but man..

My One X's HDMI Output went out in August of 19. My lazy ass didn't send it for repair until January 2nd of this year so I was full-time PC for all those months, being that I sold all my PS4 games and haven't had PS+ in years. Man...as much shyt as I talk about loving my PC, now that I have the Xbox back I'm not sure that I even want to look at that damn PC. It's so much more convenient to not go to settings immediately when I start a game and start fukking with everything and messing with MSI Afterburner and staring at the FPS up in the corner. I can't believe I'm even typing this shyt smh.

Word. There's times where I'm cool and don't mind fukkin with some settings or making something dope through mods but then there's times when you just go to play something and it suddenly has a problem. Suddenly it's crashing, suddenly the performance is garbage, suddenly the game just decides not to launch. Little small shyt.

On a console you know shyt is almost always going to work. I can't remember ever having to do anything special for a game to work on consoles outside of a game just outright being broken at launch(Halo MCC, Driveclub Online, GTA V launch day online servers, Destiny 2 etc.) Even then once the issue is fixed the game at least works and any problems are just game related issues(balancing, nerfs etc.)

Got bluestacks on there for all my android needs.
Got a Wii U emulator that plays Super Smash Bros and Tekken Tag 60fps
Got a PS3 emulator where I can Virtua Fighter 5 at 60fps
I'm a fighting game junkie and the fact that I can play every single fighter on one platform is amazing. And this is all on my laptop.
The Switch/My gaming laptop pretty much has me covered in all aspects of gaming.

But I understand why y'all dont fukk with PC. It ain't for the faint heart in terms of plug and play.

I have the same thing. I love the variety and things you can do on there.
I was playing Chrono Trigger on Retroarch for a few months, stopped playing and came back and BOOM my save file or something stopped working due to something I must have updated.

I now just have a small retropie I use for emulation in the time I feel like playing something old.

simple fix: just reinstall your video drivers, Battlenet, the game, Windows, and Adobe Flash

then go to c:/users/fatboi1/appdata/notporn/porn/blizzard/callofdookie/, look for henati.ini, and change msaahdaoglobalillumination=ps4pro

then take out your ssd/hdd, soak it in kerosene, set it on fire, and repeat the first step

do this three times and everything should be fixed. if not proceed to the next step:

All the tinkering and optimization game by game I see streamers and PC gamers do in general turn me away from pulling the trigger on a rig.

Every time I see the words "plug and play" I hit the because if they aren't opening that bytch back up within a week to tweak something, some shyt with a driver needs to be researched or something not working properly will rear its ugly head months down the line. Feels like jail to me.
