Just imagine going back to 96 when Suge told the media that going to fight with Bad Boy was the same as going to a play ground and picking on little kids. EVERYONE believed him and Pac. Death Row was hard Bad Boy was soft.

When DR was all on Big and Puff , Puffy did the following moves.

He kept the image of being radio friendly
It didn't touch his money at all with albums from Total, 112 , Faith going platinum
He signed a crazy deal with Clive Davis during the height of the beef.
He had protection from Wolf Riz etc
He took the beef to LA on their own turf

And to think of it. Real badboys move in silence was one hell of a subliminal

And yes he got arrogant and lost biggie.

But the above is really really gangsta.

The one thing that blows my mind about Puff is how he permanently moved to LA after the whole Bad Boy/Death Row saga and has never been touched since

Even when Suge was free and running around. I legit dont get that. Cause Suge is now sitting in jail over him not letting go a beef with Dr.Dre of all people, while puff been living on his turf for over 10 years

There must be some serious ammunition behind the scenes with that dude.
