It's a House track with some club elements in there...besides searching for how to go from the pattern to song mode on FL I used no tutorials at all I just went with the flow and kept whatever I thought sounded good...there's some things that could be improved but I decided to upload it as it is...I downloaded FL yesterday and made this shyt just now...my first beat ever..all criticism welcomed

My constructive criticism would be to make more than one beat, before you ask for constructive criticism.

Music is something people spend years learning how to do. It's a grind, nobody is going to knock it out the park the first time.

that being said, i've heard worse :yeshrug:
good lookin bruh.....I definitely didnt expect to knock it out the park my first time...I don't know much about beatmaking or producing but I uploaded it anyway so you guys could tell me what parts of my game I should work on...I know I'm barely scratching the surface when it comes to using FL and making beats in general but you gotta start somewhere...the only thing to do is put that time in and keep practicing

I'm gonna check out some of those tutorials on Youtube and experiment with different styles..my plan was to make a Hip-Hop beat next, then a Deep House and straight up Jersey Club track

there's some really good in-depth tutorials on youtube. There's even some official tutorials somewhere. You can learn a ton there.

Honestly, not bad for your first attempt at making a beat. Don't worry about asking for criticism after just your first beat. It's the only way you're going to get better. I agree with what has already been said, Youtube is a good resource. As far as the beat is concerned, that drum pattern has a little too much going on for my liking. I'd say maybe tone down the drums a bit.

lol i can hear the preset sounds in your beat

my advice would be to get some new sounds or change up the sound sounds you have now or make new ones, stock up on some ammo.

tbh the track isnt bad imo, it reminds me a lot of them GTA radio station tracks, like GTA 2

kinda cool concept for your first beat.
IMO some change ups and maybe slow the tempo down a little bit.

I would layer another kick and snare with drums out or add effects to your drums. (not sure if thats a drum loop or not)

I have a feeling this is going to be one of those beats for you where you'll come back to it in like a year and turn it into a banger.

with better mixing this wouldnt be that bad if it were a trap song and there was a automated filter at the beginning
