Nate won the 1st round...EASILY...McGregor was just swinging and missing

People were FOOLED by the blood on Nate's face, and McGregor's nut in their eyes...

It was EASY work...There is no need for a second fight for Nate...The UFC better pay him the same purse as McGregor...

Nate was getting his dinner ate in the 1st round....couldn't get his 1-2 off b/c conor was countering nate's jab constantly and he was constantly stalking nate...striking, aggression and octagon control....all Conor.

Nate got a TD but conor swept him and was on top of him to finish out the round......and I know scar tissue makes you bleed more easily but still....conor was cutting him up...Nate was outclassed in the first round.

Conor needs to throw that fw title in the bushes and focus on the lw division....he can dominate for years there...he also whips nate in a rematch @ lw .

Watch the fight again...McGregor probably missed on 80% of his strikes...That's partly why he gassed, throwing bombs in the air...

I really thought McGregor was going to kick Nate's lead leg to smithereens and finish him off...I was DEAD wrong...The fight was NOT close...Nate EASILY won that fight, including the first round...

It is funny that they didn't show the significant strikes stats...I would love to see them...

conor was doing really well in that 1st round. he was tagging nate a lot...caught him with plenty of good hard shots but diaz just walked through them. mcgregor's power didn't translate up 2 weight classes like he thought it would. and then...well, we all saw what happened in the 2nd.

I agree, leg kicks are the key if they ever fight again.

Conor hasn't really shown crazy leg kicks like that...but he does kick hard, in general...I think he just stalks too much...he'll smother the kick range if he doesn't slow down his attack in the rematch. But staying in that range could also give Nate space to get his boxing going earlier.
