I just downloaded the Dragon ball Z series and I have a question?

I downloaded all 9 seasons and it's come with 3 audio tracks. The Japanese, original English and funimation english.

Which one should I use?

I don't know the policy about linking to torrents on here, but type "dragon ball z remastered torrent" into google and click the first thing that comes up. Should be from pirate bay. 14.67 gigs.

I remember Ocean dubbed up til goku lands on Namek and Funimation (Bruce Falconer music) took over the rest of the way, eventually going back to re-dubb Ocean Studios' episodes. Is Ocean considered "orginal english" in the case?

Not sure. I just know the original English version has a super cheesy disco/70's cartoon sounding soundtrack in the background while the Funimation dub has that bad ass rock music we were used to back in the Toonami/Cartoon Network days.

I downloaded it to watch with my friend, and when we hit play the first thing she said when the music hit was "what the fukk?"

Went to audio on my VLC player and switched it to Funimation and it was smooth sailing. Japanese is also available.

First time seeing DBZ?

While there are some good pieces, they all fukking suck to be honest. JP version is too campy and is essentially an extension of the Dragonball soundtrack, Funi english music never knows when to shut the fukk up and majority of it is lame cheap synths and I don't even remember the fukking Ocean dub music other than Rock the Dragon. Very generic.

This is coming from someone who grew up on all three soundtracks and use to embarrassingly stan the JP soundtrack (weeaboo phase)

Hell no. Bruce Falconer had the GOAT production in DBZ. That Japanese soundtrack is for the Japan ppl's tastes only. shyt sounds horrible.
