I just caught up to the Tower of manwha

ToG is a masterclass in how to ruin your own series

shyt started off interesting

And ended up doing shytty DBZ style fights that are really hard to follow

And the art! Its better on a technical better now, but had a much more interesting art style in the earlier chapters.

shyt fell off at the Hell Train Arc

I agree lowkey. The fights fell off after the name hunt station imo. Power scaling got to DBZ levels abruptly and among the protagonists it was only Bam taking that leap.

The fights had cool ass choreography and concepts before, now it's characters are hurling giant barely discernable spells &1 beams at each other that go "KSSSSSSSHHHHHHH" and take entire page spreads at a time. Its cool from a feat perspective but super high powered characters ruin fight choreography to me most times


That said, I wouldn't say it's fell off. Storywise its gotten even better and the worldbuilding is starting to have payoffs now in part 3. The fights are the only step down

Karaka and Waganan never had a heart tl heart

Its like a giant space opera now

And I like the earlier art better

You say the story is trash yet you're clearly antcipating plot threads, reunions and character confrontations.  ok


The art in the very beginning was lowkey terrible. SiU made a big leap in that area somewhere in early part 2. Gotta him

Nah its trash because I'm not enjoying the shyt I have to endure to get there

The power up shyt started after the Hell Joe arc, but it was still bearable

Everything in season 3 has been trash to me

His earlier art was worse but had more style
Its too clean now and boring
