Give me some convincing reasons as to how he's not and I might change my view.
But until then
The fact that his team blew that 20 point lead in the fourth quarter of the playoffs last season and he came up pretty small in the clutch lets me know he's not the best player in the league RIGHT NOW. I, like others, expect for him to eventually get there, possibly as soon as 2017 (fully expect a couple of more years as LeBron as the best) but if we're going to call him the best we've gotta criticize him as though he's the best.

He probably has the most unique/productive skill set in the league, but I'm always more partial to guys who can go out and get you 40 in the big game. I look at Davis as this generation's Kevin Garnett, who I thought was the best "all around" player for years but I always had Shaq, Duncan, or Kobe ahead of him
