Backstory
Terry Albury was hired during 9/11. He started out doing grunt work... Gathering general intelligence and passing it onto higher ups for decision making. He feels like he's making a difference. As a minority, he was able to (aka they volunteered that he) go undercover into mosques which allowed him to quickly climb the ranks.

As he gets more seniority, he also gets more visibility into the entire picture and realizes that they aren't really discovering terrorist rings but are just stalking/harassing Muslims more or less. There is this circular logic where, since the result of breaking up terrorist rings isn't fruitful, the action itself becomes the main focus. It doesn't matter if terrorist rings are broken up as long as we are surveilling as many people as possible because eventually someone will be part of a terrorist ring...right?

When the focus turns to Somali/American residents, it is during George Floyd et al, and so he starts to identify with them more like a fellow African-American than the Middle Eastern counterparts. (#NoADOS-talk) It starts to click that the establishment is racist AF in a Stephen Miller 'Let's just kill everyone and be done with it" or "they are all just here to be on welfare", Fox News kinda way.

He leaks all the terrible stuff he's seen to The Intercept and it doesn't go viral (It was so lowkey, Nap only has one post that mentions breh's name :deadrose:) but the FBI get scared and launch an internal investigation.

They catch him and he gets sentenced to a 4 year bid.:francis:
