I have no idea which iPad to buy

Some history here:
I'm not a Mactard or whatever people call them now. I have an iPhone 4 basic and I bought my MBPro 2 years ago. I've always wanted the iPad, but I wanted to wait until the rate slowed down just a tad. I've played with a few over the years. The 1st gen wasn't good enough for me, plus I knew that they'd get to 3 before they worked everything out and polished it up well (I was thinking they would get to the equivalent of the iPhone3GS for iPads)

The 3rd gen dropped, and I was waiting just a few months to make sure that I was going to get the best. Everything was looking good, ready to go buy a brand new 3...

Then they drop the Mini. I don't need some mini iPad anyway, so I still move towards the 3rd gen iPad...

now they drop THIS shyt on me about the iPad4???



wtf am I supposed to do?

I don't want to drop a few hundred to be obsolete next week.

Apple brehs, please help me out here

cop an ipad 3 its cheap and pretty much the same as the 4th...

I still see the 3 around 500 at Best Buy and the like
