I feel the same way but i include NWA in that mix as well. I felt, as a youth that Biggie was one of the worst things to ever happen to hiphop with the whole materialism/elitism really taking a hold in hiphop. It assisted in turning the community into snakes. Shame Biggie didnt use his lyrics to bring people together but instead tear people apart by separating himself based on his value to demons.

That said, Ab Soul isnt that good of a rapper from a technical standpoint.

I blame Puffy and the record labels, in reality biggie was in the game what 2 years Puff kept this ish going and everybody jumped on the "Bad Boy Formula" cause they was making money........ So really I blame all the followers not even Puff he did what he came to do and what made him successful everyone else in New York started playing follow the leader.
