Id say at minimum 2k but preferably 5k. If it costs you $20 to buy+sell a stock, thats 1% on 2k and 0.2% on 5k. These small fees add up if you trade a lot but at least at these levels, you only have to gain more than 1% ROI to make a profit.

open an IRA and put it towards your retirement - invest in a good mutual fund and continue saving and loading up on mutual fund(s).

if I only had 112 and wanted to flip it, I'd look at forex or options
