Facebook, Twitter, Instagram all that. All the social media "celebrities" all these whores with mirrors and selfies. People posting pointless opinions about their pointless little lives. I dunno maybe I'm being harsh but after a while, that shyt gets old. Same ol same ol. I went to this bar. Look at my child doing same shyt every other kid does. I even get into beefs and lose friends over this nonsense. I'm just done with it.

Twitter is only good for keeping updated with sports & news, outside of that it's just nikkas trying to trick dumb broads into thinking they're different with all these "A real man would blah blah" bullshyt, and dumb bytches talking about all the things they'd do for their boyfriend if they had one and how nobody deserves them.

This forum is social media.

Facebook is useless, but Twitter is useful if you follow the right people. If you follow intellectuals, artist, writers, etc you can get enlightened. I use it as a tool to gain insight into other people's perceptions and it is also a good source to see what is going on at the grassroots level, like when Syria had it's shyt, Syrians on Twitter had all the updates on what was really going on instead of trusting these lying ass news sources.

I quit facebook roughly 2 years ago and haven't looked back even once since.. However..

I had to remake it for school purposes since everyone insists on using it to do everything.. Didn't really have much of a choice in that matter. Once the usefulness of that account expires, I'm going to delete it all over again.

I never considered this social media but that's an corrected oversight. I like it here. You guys are funny and insightful. It's cool and tolerable. I agree with the twitter thing. I followed some astronauts who were station in the international space station posting pics of the earth. I also have a radio show and I was being followed by A&Rs and label heads. I keep the twitter up for radio purposes but I don't tweet unless I'm on the air and the random hey check out my show tweet.

Yeah, I don't tweet anymore. People don't realize their thoughts are worth something and I've seen people get their ideas, jokes, etc get stolen cause they tweeted about it.

This place isn't flooded with played out memes and people don't generally come here with too much drama, even at that the drama that does get on here is entertaining to watch. With easy access to the other forums for good discussion. This is social media at it's finest imo.
