Didnt realise it was the same sample until I heard the song browsing for samples on youtube,

Would appreciate any feedback you got for this, after looping and punching the drums I got stuck for a long time thinking how else I can layer the song. Was originally thinking 808 bassline but just wouldnt work so I used the bassline from the sample instead and boosted it.

I think your hihat is too loud in the mix, it's just a TAD bit too punchy and harsh. i'd put just a little EQ on it or turn it down a few db like -3 db diff. just my opinion. good sounds tho. I
