his combination of speed+power+timing+accuracy is just he has everything a striker needs in MMA. this guy has the skillset to be a long-reigning champion, like an Anderson 2.0, but just lacks the discipline and mindset to do what it takes to get there. dude's just waaay too cocky and has zero respect for his opponents skills, which will get him in trouble against bad motherfukkers like douglas lima who won't play into his game.

and it's a damn shame. I feel like he's such a wasted talent

His resume is nowhere near most current UFC WW (and some Bellator WW) and is even more far off of GSP and Hughes to be having these "what if?" discussions.

I think that comparing what he does to this level of competition to GOATs is more than a stretch at this time.
